Photos taken on Saturday the 5th August 2000


SECR C Class No.592 worked the first train of the weekend [the 9.50 from Horsted Keynes] pictured at West Hoathly.


BR 4MT No. 75027, hauling a rake of Mark 1 coaches, is seen here passing Holywell with the 10.35 from Sheffield Park.


BR 5MT No. 73082 "Camelot" passes Nobles farm with the 11.10 service from Sheffield Park.


E4 Class No. 473 "Birch Grove" is seen coasting towards Three Arch bridge with the 11.07 from Kingscote.


The 11.45 service from Sheffield Park passes Holywell headed by SECR O1 Class No. 65 and C Class 592 . A magnificent sight !


LBSCR Terrier No.55 "Stepney" and "Birch Grove" are seen climbing away from Leamland Bridge towards Kingscote.


The Somerset and Dorset comes to Sussex ! Nos. 75027 and 9F Class No.92240 have just shut off steam to run into Horsted Keynes.


No.55 "St epney" hauls a Bulleid brake, 4 Mark 1's and 140 tons of 9F up Freshfield Bank ! The train is the 3.15 from Sheffield Park.
