The Bluebell Railway has a vacancy in its Carriage and Wagon Department for a
Carriage Painter
The Bluebell Railway requires a full-time painter, whose primary role will be to maintain the appearance and weatherproofing of the railway's award-winning fleet of historic railway carriages.
The post holder will have experience in finishing and painting, by traditional methods, to the highest standards. Experience in working with railway carriages will be of great advantage, but the job would suit someone with experience in restoration of other forms of heritage transport.
The Carriage and Wagon Works operates 7 days per week, and some weekend working may be required.
Contact Lisa Boyle on 01825 720812 for an application form.
For further information about the post contact Lewis Nodes (01273 492104 or e-mail).
Closing Date for applications is 19 February 2007.
