Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator
The Bluebell Railway currently has a vacancy for a Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator; this is a voluntary position. The role of the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator is vital in ensuring the future of the railway; without volunteers there will be no railway!
The main purpose of the role is to grow and lead the Volunteer Recruitment Team and coordinate the work of the team.
The role of the Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator, working with the Volunteer Recruitment Team is to:
- Answer enquiries from and supply information to potential volunteers.
- Arrange visits to the railway for potential volunteers.
- Work with the 9F club to improve the numbers of club members transferring to main stream volunteering.
- Promote the possibilities of volunteering at the railway and at outside events.
A working knowledge of the Bluebell Railway and basic computer skills would be an advantage.
