THE GOLDEN ARROW

This train is key to what we do in the catering department, and we ran 15 trains in December 2002, using up to 90 volunteer operating staff over the season, so your input is vital to this effort.

Inevitably some members will have comments about the way in which we organise the running the train, and some comments about the mid week operation have already been fed back to me.

This is your chance to hear a short presentation from me on the 2002 results and the importance of your input, and to ask questions or make observations about what we do and how we do it. I have asked other Directors, and Trustees, together with Peter Gray, and members of his staff to be available to deal with comments, and I hope that together we can improve our understanding of each others role in this vital part or our activity.

Signalmen, Guards and Footplate staff might find this event of particular interest, but input from across the railway will be welcomed.

A Buffet supper will be provided, and the bar will be open for the sale of refreshments.
