View of Stepney's old chimney During half-term week's running Stepney's chimney sprouted holes at the base. A temporary replacement has been fitted whilst a new one is constructed. More details and pictures.

View of 3217's frames Work continues on 3217's repair, with attention to the frames and bogie. More details and pictures.

On 18 November 73082 Camelot sprang a leak from a crack in the firebox outer wrapper, just beside the driver's knees, putting it out of traffic for the time being. An in-situ repair is being planned to enable it to complete the remaining 18 months of its boiler ticket.

View of 473's new small end bearing Regular visitors will have noticed the knocking sound coming from Birch Grove's insides over the past months. The left small end bearing is being replaced. More details and pictures.
