News of the repair of 3217 Earl of Berkeley

View of loco The front bufferbeam has been removed, revealing corrosion in various frame parts which will need replacement.


View of loco Various cracks and old welds in the bogie frame have been repaired to improve its integrity and appearance.


View of loco On the boiler the washout plug holes have been fitted with new bosses.
