Work continues on Stepney

Stepney's boiler has now been removed from the frames. The vacuum brake cylinder has also been removed for servicing and can be seen on the floor beside the cab.

In the background work continues on Blackmoor Vale. The cladding sheets are being removed from the framework over the boiler. In the foreground on the right Birch Grove's bunker is freshly painted with a new batch of umber brown, a slightly brighter colour than the old paint. In the background work also continues on the O1.

Stepney's new front tubeplate blank as delivered. The holes will be drilled using the old tubeplate as the pattern.
