Progress with Stepney

The new front tubeplate has been installed.

The new ring for fitting the smokebox to the boiler barrel. This will be welded onto the barrel.

New rivets installed in the foundation ring and fire-hole ring.

Patch screws to be fitted in the firebox lap seams in place of wasted rivets. These are tightened until the hexagon section breaks off at the neck..
