News of Fenchurch's Repair

View of reinstallation Fenchurch's repaired cylinders have been replaced in the frames.

View of cylinders The repairs can been seen here - a new main steampipe flange and two copper patches over holes in the exhaust manifold. The new bolts holding the two sides together show the extent of corrosion which has taken place. (The yellow patches are a guide for the pattern-makers.)

There will be more news of Fenchurch's repair job in the coming weeks, including all the news missing since the spring.
