Fenchurch visits Kent & East Sussex Railway
Roving Terrier Class locomotive Number 672 "Fenchurch" made a brief visit to the Kent & East Sussex Railway at Tenterden for two weekends at the end of September
A requirement for an additional locomotive to assist with their Thomas Event, prompted a request for the loan of "Fenchurch" following a similar arrangement two years ago when fellow Terrier " Knowle" made a flying visit to the Bluebell for their Terrier Weekend
"Fenchurch" was in action at the KESR over the weekends of 28 & 29th September and 5th & 6th October when it was paired with P Class Number 753 on passengers' services
Commercial Director Tim Baker said "We are pleased to have assisted the Kent & East Sussex Railway in this manner. The opportunity to pair the two pre-grouping locomotives made a very colourful sight especially at the head of the KESR Maunsell Coaches"
