Bluebell Railway News Release

Half Term "Stepney Specials"

The Bluebell Railway will be operating its children's favourite steam locomotive "Stepney" on special services throughout the school half term holidays

From Monday 28th October until Sunday 3rd November, the 1875 built locomotive will be helping to haul vintage carriages from the 1920's departing Sheffield Park station at 12.00, 2.00 and 4.00pm each day

Trains will also serve Horsted Keynes and Kingscote Stations.

Carolyn Gray, Marketing Manager said "Stepney is our most popular steam locomotive and is always a favourite with families when they visit the railway. He even has his own fan club of about 600 members"

In addition to the Stepney Specials other trains will also operate giving an hourly train service from 11.00am until 4.00pm

The Bluebell Railway operates each weekend throughout the winter. For full details contact the Bluebell Railway on 01825 720800, or see the timetable on the railway's website
