Bluebell Railway News Release

Father Christmas arrives at the Bluebell

Father Christmas will be taking a ride on the famous Bluebell Railway and will be giving a present to children travelling on one of their Santa Specials this December

The Special trains depart from Sheffield Park Station each Saturday & Sunday from the 30th November right up until Christmas with some extra trains on Friday 20th until Tuesday 24th December

Marketing Manager Carolyn Gray said, "Our Santa Special trains are very magical and extremely popular. As well as Father Christmas there are clowns and other entertainers on board our vintage trains but it is very important that you book in advance"

Seasonal refreshments are also available including mince pies. And for passengers travelling in the 1913 built Observation Car, there is traditional carol singing during the journey to Kingscote and back

To book seats on the Santa Specials telephone 01825 720 806 or see the Santa Special web page.
