Commemorative Cover: 45th Anniversary
14th March 2004
Issued to commemorate the anniversary of the inaugural meeting to form the Lewes - East Grinstead Railway Preservation Society, held in Haywards Heath, 16th March 1959. Issued on the date closest to the anniversary on which trains were running on the Bluebell Railway. (Please note that, due to a production error, the envelope says "55th Anniversary".)
The "Bluebell Railway / East Grinstead" sponsored date stamp used to cancel the Royal mail stamp.
