  • War Dept' Locos on display in period liveries
  • Gun & mock battles on Horsted Keynes station platforms
  • Stepney Club evacuees train on Saturday
  • WW2 cine films in the cinema coach
  • Army vehicles on goods train
  • ENSA concert shows daily
  • Girls Land Army display
  • Daily performances from the London Swing Dance Society
Prime Minister Churchill was in attendance

Evening entertainment, Band and Barbecue

An additional attraction: The Bugatti owners car club held a rally in Horsted Keynes Station field on the Sunday.

The 40's music evening band and dance on Saturday evening was held in the Bessemer Arms at Sheffield Park and was free!!

Saturday evening train service using the VBT, dept S/P at 6.30pm, 8.00pm, (and 10.30pm - single journey only).
The evening train service ran to H/K only, returning at 7.05pm and 8.35pm.
Special Fare of £3 for public or non-working members.
