News of the repair of locomotive No 1178

View of loco The new front tubeplate has been mounted on the cylinder block with the smokebox front so that the smokebox wrapper plate can be shaped and fitted correctly.

The locomotive has been turned round again to give easier access to the front end for fitting the smokebox.
