Bluebell Railway Open Day

The Bluebell Railway is holding a special Open Day on Friday 11th October at Sheffield Park Station

The day is aimed at attracting group and party traffic to visit the Bluebell Railway plus other local attractions and business who will also be on display at Sheffield Park Station

During the day free steam train rides are taking place between Sheffield Park and Horsted Keynes stations, PLUS an opportunity to learn how to drive a steam locomotive. This can be arranged for a small fee if booked in advance

Marketing Manager, Carolyn Gray said "This is the ideal opportunity for any group and party organisers to have a look around the railway and meet our marketing team together with representatives from other local attractions and businesses"

The Open Day commences at 10.00 and will remain open until 6.00pm. Any local residents also have the opportunity to see what is going on and are welcome to come along

The Footplate experience must be booked in advance, as space is limited. Contact the railway on 01825 720800
