O1 and C on goods train - Peter Edwards - 15 March 2000

Known on the railway as the "Chatham Twins" these two locos look absolutely superb together. It's hard to believe that this is what goods locomotives looked like in the early 1900s, but they did! The photograph was taken when the locos were being used on a Footplate Days and Ways experience course on 15 March 2000.

Both locomotives are now in the ownership of The Bluebell Railway Trust.

Go to the Web page for No. 65 or that for the C-class.
