Recent management changes

Julie Jones recently resigned from her post as General Manager. She left the company on Wednesday 12 June 2019.

After over 5 years as Chairman of Bluebell Railway PLC, Dick Fearn is not seeking a further term of office and will be standing down at the Company's AGM on 29 August 2019. Dick believes that the Board of the Bluebell Railway now needs to be chaired by someone who can devote significantly more time to the role than he is able to give and if necessary an Interim Chairman will be appointed.

In the meantime the Directors of Bluebell Railway PLC and the Trustees of the Bluebell Railway Preservation Society are jointly considering appropriate succession arrangements and further announcements will be made in due course. In the meantime on all day to day operating matters our long standing Operations Manager, Chris Knibbs, will take the lead.
