Operation Undercover -
Application for funding submitted to Heritage Lottery Fund

24 March 2004

The team preparing the HLF bid for a stock storage and display building on the former Woodpax site are pleased to announce that the application for funding has been submitted to the Heritage Lottery Fund. We expect it will be many months before we hear as to whether we have been successful.

The preparation of the application and supporting documentation has been a tremendous team effort, with most of the work being done by Nicholas Pryor, Martin Lock, Roy Watts, Gavin Bennett, Barry Coward and Richard Salmon, with significant assistance from many other Bluebell Trustees, staff and volunteers.

A copy of the bid documents will be on display at the BRPS AGM.

Donations to the Appeal can be sent on this form which can be printed out and sent in. Those who have previously pledged money were sent forms specific to their pledges.

We still need donations to enable us to repay interest-free loans, and to provide parternership funding for the project for the costs of building a stock storage and display shed on the new land. The money donated towards the land purchase counts towards our partnership funding, but we need to raise more to achieve our 25% contribution towards the overall project.
