• BR Standard 4-6-0 No.75027 - Built at Swindon in 1952
• BR Standard 2-6-4 tank No.80151 - Built at Brighton in 1957
• GWR "Dukedog" 4-4-0 No.9017 "Earl of Berkeley" - Built at Swindon in 1938
• LBSCR E4 0-6-2T 32473, "Birch Grove" in its last few months in BR black - Built at Brighton in 1898

A four train service operated each day, roughly every 35 minutes. A variety of single and double heading, and one non-stop SP-KC service on the Saturday.
