Looking along the top of the tip towards East Grinstead. The people (in orange) in the distan ce are standing roughly in the middle of the tip, both in terms of its width and length, giving an idea of just how much space 136,000 cubic metres of waste takes up! The tree in the distance, directly above the people in the centre of the picture, marks the position of Hill Place bridge and the end of the tip.
