C&W - Stock Lists: Carriages & Wagons - C&W News - SR Coach Group - Goods Division - Operation Undercover - Technical - Join us Carriage & Wagon Works NewsSECR 7-plank Open Goods wagon No.161944 June 2003With completion of lettering the wagon is seen on the maintenance road ready for traffic use in our vintage goods train.2 April 2003This wagon, one of four SECR 7-planks recovered from the Port of Bristol, has had major work done on its underframe, brake-gear and hornguides, and much new steel-work on the body. The timbers were largely transferred from the similar No.16358 which is now awaiting major renewal and repairs to its underframe.
