SECR 7-plank Open Goods wagon No.16194

4 June 2003

SECR 7-plank completed, 4 June 2003 With completion of lettering the wagon is seen on the maintenance road ready for traffic use in our vintage goods train.

2 April 2003

SECR 7-plank, overhaul nearly completed, 2 April 2003 This wagon, one of four SECR 7-planks recovered from the Port of Bristol, has had major work done on its underframe, brake-gear and hornguides, and much new steel-work on the body. The timbers were largely transferred from the similar No.16358 which is now awaiting major renewal and repairs to its underframe. It is seen here largely complete but as yet not lettered, and still awaiting its drawgear.
