Horsted Keynes Signal Box Diagram

The layout and signalling at Horsted Keynes has undergone a long-term re-arrangement that now gives us four running roads and fully signalled access to and from the Ardingly line. Here are two photos available showing the diagram:

• The full diagram, from Derek Hayward - you will need to view the Original-size to see all the detail. Some areas are available blown up on subsequent photos in that gallery. Below is a representation of the diagram, taken from Derek's 2016 photo;

There is a substantial section of the web site covering the re-signalling work, and you can see the stages of work on the revised track layout on the Horsted Keynes Track Layout page.

The diagram on the right (click for an enlargement) is a surviving copy of the 1972 Bluebell diagram (when the platform numbers only ran from 1 to 4), covering the old track layout and signalling as first adapted by the Bluebell from that inherited from BR.
