With Blu ebell resident E4 Class No.32473 rapidly approaching the end of its current boiler ticket, on Monday 28 April 2008 the opportunity was taken to run a final photo-charter with the locomotive in BR black livery. The weather on the day was very much in our favour, allowing some memorable pictures to be taken. As ever, a huge thanks must go to everyone involved with the photo-charter - obviously to the train crew and operating staff on the day itself, but also all those involved in the planning and lineside clearance prior to the event.
