Site of the former Ardingly Station

Ardingly Station Site
The station site at Ardingly, in 1997.
Richard Salmon

It has been used as an aggregates depot for a number of years, being rail-connected via Copyhold Junction north of Haywards Heath. It has been expanded and altered since this photo was taken. Any extension of the Bluebell beyond the site would involve a deviation around the northern perimeter (right hand here) of the site, possibly accessed by means of a new tunnelled bridge under the road.
