Imberhorne Viaduct (East Grinstead end)

The view across Imberhorne Viaduct from its northern end. Note that the ballast has been removed for a short section on the right hand side about 50 yards beyond the camera to inspect the waterproofing of a section of the structure.

This photo is taken loo king in the opposite direction from alongside the inspected section referred to in the previous caption. The ballast will eventually all have to be removed so that a waterproof membrane can be laid.
