Busy scene at Horsted Keynes

Dukedog and Blackmoor Vale depart from Horsted Keynes

The unusual combination of a GWR "Dukedog" and an SR "West Country" depart northwards from Horsted Keynes station at the 2005 "Giants of Steam" gala. Both locos are long-term residents of the Bluebell Railway. In the autumn of 2006 there was the chance to see the combination of the Dukedog with "City of Truro", visiting from the National Railway Museum. This was the first time in preservation that the two surviving GWR outside-framed locos worked together on a preserved line.
