Busy scene at Horsted Keynes
The unusual combination of a GWR "Dukedog" and an SR "West Country" depart northwards from Horsted Keynes station at the 2005 "Giants of Steam" gala. Both locos are long-term residents of the Bluebell Railway. In the autumn of 2006 there will be the chance to see the combination of the Dukedog with "City of Truro", which will visit from the National Railway Museum. This will be the first time in preservation that the two surviving GWR outside-framed locos will have worked together on a preserved line.
