Again this year the Trek is raising money for the Tr(ack) Action Appeal, which is an appeal set up to raise £250,000 for the renewal of track along parts of the Railway. The Track Trek will start from Horsted Keynes station with registration and safety briefings taking place between 5:00pm and 6:00pm with the walk starting at 6:00pm. The last walkers will need to leave Horsted Keynes by 6:20pm.

2015 Track Trek at West Hoathly - Mike Hopps - 24 May 2015 Trekkers can park their cars at Horsted Keynes station to start the walk or alternatively you can use the Railway's steam hauled train service from East Grinstead or Sheffield Park stations to arrive at Horsted Keynes in time to start the walk at 6:00pm. A special evening train service after the Track Trek has finished will take walkers back to Horsted Keynes and East Grinstead stations.

This is a chance not only for supporters to see the track from a different perspective but to see first hand the track renewal work that has taken place between Horsted Keynes and Sheffield Park since the Tr(ack) Action Appeal was launched in 2017. At the same time it is a great opportunity to raise money for the Bluebell Railway by getting sponsorship from friends, family and work colleagues. The minimum sponsorship is £25.00 per person and £35.00 for a couple or family (2 adults and 3 children aged between 10 and 16 years). Please encourage your sponsors (if they qualify) to Gift Aid their donation so we can claim an additional 25% on their contribution.

To register for the Track Trek please download the sponsorship form by clicking on this link and follow the instructions.
